Service Agreement

This Service Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into on [Insert Date] by and between:

Joyce Shaw Private Events Inc. (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), and
[Client Full Name / Business Name] (“Client,” “you,” or “your”).

Together referred to as the “Parties.”

1. Services Provided

The Company agrees to provide private event planning and coordination services (“Services”) for the Client’s event as described in the attached Event Proposal / Scope of Work.

2. Payment Terms

A non-refundable deposit of $1000 USD is required to secure the event date.
Remaining balances must be paid in full no later than 14 days prior to the event date.
Late payments may be subject to additional fees.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

All cancellations and refunds are subject to the Company’s Cancellation & Refund Policy, which is incorporated by reference into this Agreement.
Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances, except if cancellation is initiated by the Company.

4. Rescheduling

Client may request to reschedule with at least 60 days’ notice. Rescheduling is subject to availability and the Company’s policies.

5. Client Responsibilities

Client agrees to provide accurate and timely information necessary for event planning.
Client is responsible for securing necessary permits, venue approvals, or third-party vendor contracts unless otherwise agreed.
Client assumes responsibility for the conduct of guests and any damages caused during the event.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Company will perform services with reasonable care and skill but does not guarantee outcomes beyond its control.
The Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Liability, if any, shall not exceed the total fees paid by the Client under this Agreement.

7. Force Majeure

The Company is not liable for delays, cancellations, or failures to perform due to events beyond its reasonable control (including natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions).

8. Intellectual Property

All creative materials, event designs, proposals, and documents produced by the Company remain its intellectual property and may not be reproduced or used without written permission.

9. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California.

10. Entire Agreement

This Agreement, together with the Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions, and Cancellation & Refund Policy posted on www.jsprivateevents.com, constitutes the entire agreement between the Parties and supersedes all prior communications.

11. Acceptance & Signatures

By signing below, both Parties agree to the terms of this Agreement.
